Pendeza Uganda is a faith-driven organisation equipping vulnerable families and children to rise above poverty, embrace their identity in Christ, and build flourishing futures.
We work alongside families and communities through three major programme interventions:
01
Equipping families with financial literacy, savings, access to affordable credit, livelihood skills, and opportunities to build sustainable incomes.
02
Supporting vulnerable children through education, mentorship, discipleship, healthcare support, and meaningful engagement with their families.
03
Equipping churches, schools, community groups, and local leaders through capacity building, discipleship, leadership development, and practical life and livelihood skills.
We Mobilise. We Train. We Equip.

Many vulnerable families face unstable incomes, limited access to affordable financial services, and a lack of practical skills and resources to build sustainable livelihoods.
We mobilise community-based savings groups and equip families with financial literacy, access to affordable credit, livelihood training, and practical support to establish and grow small enterprises.
Families develop stronger financial discipline, improve their livelihoods, prepare for emergencies, and become increasingly resilient and self-reliant.
We believe strong families create the foundation children need to flourish. By equipping caregivers economically, we help families protect their dignity, strengthen their resilience, and build more secure and hopeful futures.

Many vulnerable children face barriers to education, healthcare, mentorship, and the consistent care and guidance they need to grow and flourish.
Through child sponsorship, we provide access to education, mentorship, discipleship, essential healthcare support, and meaningful engagement with each child’s family and community.
Children are supported to grow spiritually, academically, socially, and emotionally, equipping them to pursue their dreams and positively influence their families and communities.
Your sponsorship does more than keep a child in school. It surrounds them with the care, guidance, and opportunities they need to grow, flourish, and build a hopeful future.

Communities often have committed leaders and valuable local resources, but may lack the training, coordination, and sustained support needed to address complex challenges and create lasting solutions.
We partner with churches, schools, community groups, and local leaders to strengthen their capacity through discipleship, leadership development, practical life skills, and livelihood training.
Individuals and local institutions become better equipped to lead positive change, strengthen families, protect children, mobilise local resources, and respond sustainably to the needs within their communities.
As followers of Christ, we seek to bring hope and contribute to spiritual, social, economic, and personal restoration. We help communities build on their strengths, respond to local needs, and create meaningful change that lasts.
We believe sustainable transformation happens when families are strengthened, children are educated and nurtured, local leaders are equipped, and communities actively participate in creating their own solutions.
That is why our work brings together economic empowerment, education, mentorship, discipleship, capacity building, and community partnership to create meaningful and lasting change.
The Pendeza Uganda journey started most unexpectedly. There was a Child Survival Programme (under Compassion International) that supported expectant mothers and their children below the age of three years. Great as it was, still it could not meet all the needs of the families under it, and often, those who did not meet the conditions for being helped were left out of the program.Do not get us wrong, the program was already doing a good job, but even then, much more needed to be done. The trend of giving handouts and further making the women dependent on a handout needed to be broken because, many of them could not even afford to buy charcoal to cook the food delivered to them, or buy the necessary ingredients needed to prepare the meal.
